The superb form of the Joel Parkinson Sue Smith yard has provided owners Peters and Ford with a memorable few weeks. O’Connell and Tara’s Hill being well backed and winning four races. I fully expect Rialannah to provide them with another trip to the winners enclosure on Tuesday.
The 6yo showed improved form last time out at Doncaster in a race that was notable for a major gamble on stablemate Burrows Hill who is one to watch having been hampered in a race that was impacted by the low sun causing the three flights of hurdles in the home straight being taken out.
Ridden by Gavin Sheehan who rides again this afternoon. Rialannah travelled powerfully in the front of the field, only to be caught in the final strides. The horse runs in a first time visor and with further improvement expected in a field that comprises largely well exposed rivals he can go one better.
Rialannah 1pt win if 9/2 or less – 1pt ew if 5/1 or higher
