Miss Cynthia has some serious form on the flat running well against the likes of Kyprios and Trueshan at grade 1 tracks such as Longchamp and Sandown.
She was sold at the Tattersalls Horses in training sale for 100,000 guineas almost certainly with a view to establishing a future profile as a dual purpose broodmare. She has gone to Lucy Wadham to build a profile over hurdles and there is no better trainer at improving this type of mare. The performances this season of Teresita and Telepathique providing ample proof.
The 5yo has performed with promise on her first two outings over hurdles at Fakenham and Warwick behind two very useful rivals in Go West and Thats Nice.
Based on those runs her handicap mark of 109 looks lenient. Her jumping improved from her first to second outing and its no surprise she comes to Market Rasen on Tuesday a track where Wadham has an excellent record.
She was entered at Lingfield on Thursday but this looks a ready made opportunity to break her maiden tag over hurdles.
