Transformational Betting for 2026

Midnight at the Oasis to follow up.

The Phil McEntee trained 5yo was fully expected to bounce back to form earlier this month – he landed some substantial bets having been backed into 6/4 last time out at Wolverhampton.

He would have been a lot more in running having been badly hampered at the start but still never looked likely to get beat – winning going away.

Up 5lb in a similiar contest at Newcastle on Tuesday and with Rossa Ryan booked this stiffer track should suit him even better. Before the Wolverhampton win his best performances have been over 6F at Southwell including when going close off a mark of 58 just over a year ago. The 5lb rise for the latest win still sees him able to race off 51 and he remains well handicapped.

He has a good draw in stall 10 and i expect him to complete the double with the minimum of fuss. The 3/1 on offer looks a good price and should be available at BoG with most firms from 8.00am Tuesday morning

3pt win Midnight at the Oasis 3/1 19.45 Newcastle
