After a busy Tuesday – there is a distinct downturn in activity for me on Wednesday with only 1 horse that has appeared on my Bet Tracker over the last 12 months due to run.
The horse is Salt Bay now trained by Henry de Bromhead and declared to run in the 7.15 at Gowran Park.
Salt Bay was formerly trained by Ralph Beckett and went on my tracker after being beaten a short head by the William Haggas trained Klondike who was given an outstanding ride by Ryan Moore.
Next time out both clashed again up in grade to a Group 2 which meant neither were betting propositions. Although, Salt Bay reversed the form both horses were unplaced running as though the hard race they had at York had left its mark. Both were removed from my Bet Tracker.
Salt Bay continues to disappoint and although he possibly has his right conditions on Wednesday he is not a horse i would consider backing.
I look forward to Wednesday evenings Aintree Podcast where i hope members can join Craig and myself as we mark your card for Aintree Day 1
