Transformational Betting for 2026

Hag Tag Tracker Update Saturday 5/04/2025

Despite the Group 1 racing at Meydan and the Grand National at Aintree the race that from a future betting perspective i will focus on today is the 4.25 at Yarmouth.

The race won at this track by the William Haggas trained filly Alobayyah was as impressive as any you will see from a Haggas debutant. Held up last she won going away without Marquand doing anything more than tighten the reins.

Along with the winner I added 2,3,4 Regal Agenda, Star Grit and Tequila to my tracker.

This afternoon Regal Agenda is the first to run and hopefully clarify that the form has substance to back up the huge visual impression created by Alobayyah.

Because of the ‘education policy’ sometimes Haggas unraced horses win on debut just because the race is poor. I think that is unlikely and we should find out today.

Regal Agenda is already one of the Market Movers of the day 100/30 to odds on so the signs are good – although i would be cautions about backing Karl Burkes for another week or so – his winner yesterday was a 2yo at a short price .

Raneem is a non runner at Wolverhampton and good luck to Term of Endearment and Maljoon who fly the Haggas flag in Meydan
