Transformational Betting for 2026

Its Haggas time !

After a couple of weeks with the handbrake on its time to get back to full speed with the Haggas yards runners.

The victory’s of Showering and The Kings Falcon and eye catching run of Headmaster, confirmed what i have said all along that there is nothing wrong with the horses and the race conditions for several runners on Friday and Saturday present betting opportunities.

A quick mention on the run of Sharp Move the subject of a big gamble on Thursday at Yarmouth from 9/2 to 6/4 favourite.

I have no idea where this money come from! No one who knows anything about the way Haggas horses are trained would ever back a horse on debut and the extent of the gamble was frankly unbelievable.

I have two to start off one Friday at Chepstow and a second in a race already priced up at York on Saturday.

On Friday Noble Horizon has the opportunity to prove himself a potential useful staying handicapper and he should win here before contesting some of the leading 12F+ handicaps for 3yo’s at Haydock, York, Newmarket and Goodwood as the summer progresses.

I have already mentioned how highly I rate the form of Bedouin Prince and Bowmark and Noble Horizon can confirm the quality of those two runs.

Its a deep Novice stakes for the track and Noble Horizon is priced at around 11/4 with Wathnan Racing’s Sea of Kings an eyecatcher on debut put in at 5/4.

The value of that form has yet to be proven and on paper it is inferior to both Noble Horizon’s runs. Wicked has just boosted the form winning at 9/2 and Noble Horizon can give it a further boost

There are no excuses today for New Horizon and i expect Cieren Fallon to deliver at a track where Haggas has a 50% strike rate with 3yo’s in Novice Stakes races over 1m plus. The 3/1 Bet 365 is a good price.

Diary of a Season 2pt win Noble Horizon 2.55 Chepstow Friday

On Saturday Term of Endearment looks to have been trained especially to repeat her win in the Group 3 Bronte Cup the 3.15 at York.

Lat season the 6yo mare was trained by Henri de Bromhead and ridden by Rachel Blackmore outstaying the 106 rated Night Sparkle and River of Stars and then repeating the feat at Goodwood in the Group 2 Langtry Stakes.

Only Scenic rated 105 has a rating that comes close to Term of Endearment with the rest of the field basically Class 2 handicappers.

Term of Endearment was sold to her current owners for a staggering 1.75 million guineas in the Autumn with the intention of her becoming a brood mare in Australia.

She has been sent to Haggas to enhance her reputation before heading to the paddocks and her life as a broodmare.

Preparing horses to be right on the day that matters is what William Haggas does best and i am certain saturday is the day for Term of Endearment

3/1 is a very good price in the early markets.

Diary of Season Recommended bet 2pt win Term of Endearment 3.15 York Saturday 3/1
