Transformational Betting for 2026

Sunday AM Update and More Bets on the day.

Solar Aclaim didn’t eat up this morning so has been pulled out of the Hamilton race this afternoon – no damage done as of course the money is refunded.

The Haggas team had two winners we didn’t back yesterday. Castle Cove took my Economics comment to heart and won without any bother defying top weight and a wide draw on his seasonal reappearance. He was a big drifter from 10/3 to 8/1 but could not have won with more authority.

The whole structure of Take Your Breath’s race at Sandown changed, especially the impact of the outside draw with nearly half the field non runners. She won well and it was good to see Tom Marquand have a nice winner, after a tough week.

Of the rest Molten Sea was another to drift markedly but only went down by a whisker at Chester she is tough and although likely to go up another couple of pounds she looks sure to win again shortly. Although I got away with it – once the ground went soft at Chester it was a mistake not to have backed her.

Some very interesting runners for the Haggas team on Sunday.

Sam Hawkens goes to Hamilton in the 1m 5f Handicap at 4.45. He is 3/1 favourite today and is up 8lb for the comfortable Newcastle win.

In Kings Scholar and Minstrel Knight he faces two rivals that are potentially better class than what he met at Newcastle. However they have entered him for the Northumberland Plate but looks to be coming here in preference.

Haggas has a 50% strike rate with the handicappers at the track and it would be foolish to let the improving 4yo, running on only his 5th start for the yard, to go off unbacked.

Recommended 1pt win Bet Sam Hawkens 4.45 Newcastle.

Chorus heads to Chantilly to contest a listed contest over 1m 4f at 4.25pm.

She will love conditions across the channel and her run last time in a Group 3 at York was a life time best by a long way and although beaten easily by a potential Arc filly in Estrange she finished 5L clear of the proven group performer Beautiful in Love. Dropped back down into listed company a repeat of that run puts her in with a great shout this afternoon.

Recommended 1pt win Bet Chorus 4.00pm Chantilly

At Salisbury the highly touted unraced pair Mission Possible and Wujjood make their debuts in a 4 runner race at 4.25. If you have to bet back the outsider of the two, although personally i will leave both well alone. If you saw the run of the well backed Klassleader at Sandown yesterday you will get the point.

The first Ascot preview for Tuesday will be out this evening and there will be bet details every evening from around 6.00pm followed by a Noon update Tuesday through to Saturday.

Diary of a Season Sunday 15th June 2025 – Two recommended Bets

1pt win Sam Hawkens 4.45 Newcastle

1pt win Chorus 4.25 Chantilly
