Race 1 2.30 Chesham Stakes
Aiden O Brien and Ryan Moore missed out on winning 4 of the 5 2yo races yesterday when Venetian Sun gave Tony Bloom another Royal Ascot winner in the opener yesterday. She was really impressive and looks a Group 1 filly.
Treanmor has been replaced as favourite by Moments of Joy but i have a feeling Humidity could improve ahead of both. However, it will be a Royal Ascot without a bet on a 2yo for me.

Race 2 3.05 Hardwick
This looks extremely trappy with most of the field having some sort of chance. William Haggas throws three darts Candleford, Al Aasy and Space Legend, all have an ew chance but equally all three can have off days so i will give them a miss and watch without getting involved.

Race 3 3.40 Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee
Everyone who has seen the Japanese sprinter Sotana Reve has been blown away by his stature and power. With the current crop of European stars looking sub standard the door looks open for the 6yo who has form with the world’s fastest horse Ko Ying Rising.
Drawn well in 16 I think at around 5/1 he is an each way bet to nothing.

Race 4 4.20 Jersey
A sub standard Jersey Stakes. Spy Chief is a 18/1 chance for John Gosden.
Don’t under estimate the colt he pulverised a very useful William Haggas horse called Almeraq a 3yo that is likely to be serious gamble for us in the right race as this season progresses.
Spy Chief potentially blows a very good handicap running here and he is an interesting runner.
Cajole a similiar type ran really well in the Sandringham

Race 5 5.00 Wokingham
This is all about More Thunder our recommended bet. He has looked every inch a Wokingham star since winning his first two at Newmarket and his mark of 94 is reasonable for this horse who is likely to chase Group races after today.
The danger is possibly Purosanque at around 12/1 who i know has been laid out for this and the brilliant Oisin Murphy is in the saddle.

Haggas has had three horses miss the cut at Ascot but the most frustrating will be Archivist who misses a run in this by 1 place. He was my bet of the meeting and we will have to wait for another day. I will look at the race without Archivist and advise accordingly in the 12 noon update on Saturday.
