A great Ascot with an amazing number of races that overall the results probably ended up just in a favour of the bookies.

We were just over 15pts up which is fair enough given our biggest bet was balloted out and an unbelievable Saturday with 4 seconds beaten by 5/1 25/1 28/1 and 50/1 shots – thats racing folks. It will never happen again !!!

Santorini Star has been very good to us and she steps up into listed company at Pontefract tomorrow at 3.50. This looks a good opportunity but Pontefract is a difficult track when there is weak pace and Allonsy will get her own way in front and dropped in grade she is typically a very hard filly to pass.

The Beckett team finally showed signs of a revival over the last 48 hours and with 7/4 the best we can get about Santorini Star i will let her win unbacked.

It will be good to have a break after the past 5 days – Bring on 2026.
