Hot listed contest main event on Tuesday…

The Haggas team had one winner and three seconds from their 6 runners on Monday. Our decision to wait for later in the week was correct.

Any of you following the analyses were rewarded with 2 horses that beat the Haggas handicappers with Grand Karat backed from 10/1 into 7/2 beating the heavily backed Elmonjed and Dantes Lad landing a short price backed from 13/8 t0 6/5 beating Approval who did run better and he will be interesting at a big price next time out.

The yard has one runner on Tuesday Lou Lou’s Gift in the listed race the 8.00 at Chelmsford. The 4yo filly was another from the yard that was prepared for Royal Ascot and balloted out.

The extreme hot weather will make the track at Chelmsford in favour of front runners who stay the trip well. With a Royal Ascot winner in Miss Information Aw specialist Cloud Cover, Jabarra and two from Ralph Beckett’s this is a very hot contest and Lou Lou’s Gift will do well to win on her first outing .

Given the conditions i fancy Fair Point could run a big race at odds of around 7/1.
