Crown of Oaks to extend Haggas winning run at Ayr

The bookies, for once understandably, are running scared of Jim Goldies runners at Ayr this afternoon, but he doesn’t have a runner in the race we are focusing on leaving the way clear for William Haggas to extend his winning run to six from the last nine horses sent to the track with Crown of Oaks

Apparently, there was some 11/4 available on the Haggas 3yo yesterday afternoon but it must have lasted all of 10 minutes and 7/4 is the general BoG price available today.

Thats the minimum I wanted to take and he may drift if the bookies also believe that there is a possibility he may be a morning glory.

At the start of the season he would have been alongside Archivist, Almeraq, Merchant and Raafedd as colts that could move into Group company. He must surely win this afternoon if he is to stay in that list.

I have had 2pt win BOG and also a 0.75 saver on Hornsea Boy 4/1 also BoG as if Crown of Oaks or Cieren Fallon misfires he will surely win.
