Chepstow Thursday and another big prize for Goodwood winning team.

The Horse Watchers team landed a huge gamble when Daniel Tudhope rode a brilliant race on Rhoscolyn to capture the Golden Mile at Goodwood last week.

The team look set to strike again, this time in the Racing League with Hornsea Bay at Chepstow, sporting the green colours of Ireland the last race on the card due off at 8.30.

When we backed Crown of Oaks at Ayr , despite the 3yo being thrown in at the weights, I feared the presence of Hornsea Bay, who was also well handicapped and they duly finished first and second with Crown Of Oaks winning cosily by just over a 1L.

The Haggas team won’t be complaining about the 6lb rise in the weights nor will the Horse Watchers be concerned about the 3lb rise for Hornsea Bay. However on Thursday he can race off his old mark of 86 and remains a very well handicapped horse.

William Hill have opened the market at 9/4 which is about right – i suspect he will go off around 15/8. He looks better than his rivals.

Recommended Bet 3pt win Hornsea Bay 8.30 Chepstow
