A poor start on Monday where the ground went soft /heavy at Thirsk and we got the Haggas runners the wrong way around.
The three day Yarmouth starts on Tuesday with the ground likely to change to Good or Good to Soft from Soft following a dry day on Monday and strong winds.
Somerville Lodge send three runners to the seaside course starting in the opener at 2.25 with Division and Fine Art Dealer. Division will be odds on to follow up his impressive Haydock win. This race has been chosen to give him experience in preparation for a tilt at Stakes races later in the season.

In the 5.30 the yards persistence with Raneenn can pay off. After winning here at Yarmouth at 25/1 on debut her best performance was on Good to Soft at Chester over 6f.
She then won on seasonal debut at Doncaster but her mark of 87 proved beyond her and she has been tried over various trips and headgear to get her back in the winners enclosure.
Her last run in a Class 3 over 5f at Lingfield on the AW was encouraging especially as she has now dropped to a mark of 81.
She has won her races from the front and since being tried in a hood she has been held up. I think from a very good draw in stall 8 Marquand will be up with the pace and hopefully have too much in hand for the danger Thunder Star who will arrive late on the scene.
Haggas is 10-27 with 3yo handicappers at this fixture and she is worth a small interest at odds of 5/1
