A Taste of 2026

As the launch of the 2026 Cocoon nears closer , the Consortium were given a guide to the power of the service on Boxing Day with the 5 horses that entered into the tracker net.

3 Winners at 9/4, 9/2 and 13/2from 12/1, a second place that really should have Won and 1 no show on a horse in a Class 6 race that drifted to 16/1.

Not all horses in the tracker net are recommended as investment opportunities and extra caution is normally advised in Class 6 events where generally poor horses can often fail to reproduce the form of previous runs.

On Saturday the 27th January all three runners in the Net at Wolverhampton meet that criteria.

First up at 4.00pm is Bass Player in the 7f Class6 Handicap at Wolverhampton the mount of Jack Mitchell for Kevin Frost. The horse has been well backed but the record at the track over the last 5 years for Frost horses with Mitchell on board in Class 6 handicaps going off 1st or 2nd in the market is 1 from 8 and suggests a cautious approach should be taken.

Next up is Amaysmont in the 4.30 again trained by Kevin Frost and ridden by Alec Volhkensky. The yards record in Class 6 at the track with horses outside the first two in the market is 5 from 95. Although 1 of those wins was thanks to Amaysmont from a mark of 59 which suggests his price of 11/1 from his mark of 60 offers some value. But again caution is advised.

Finally, in the 7.00 in yet another Class 6 Charlatan is in the Tracker. He is a horse that seems to catch the eye of the stewards as he has to be ridden like a non trier. He has an each way chance tonight and it could be that the stars will align – but once again in this Class6 grade – caution is also advised.
