Another winning day on Saturday where despite only 3 Class 6 horses in the Tracker – and a day of small stakes Charlatan Won at 6/1 providing the Consortium team with more success.
On Sunday it is better class fare at Southwell and a couple of handicappers enter the tracker net in Class 5 and Class 4 events.
First up in the 6f Sprint handicap True Promise has excellent claims with the drop to Class 5 and all conditions in his favour. A price of 4/1 provides each way insurance and he is confidently expected to get back into the winners enclosure for the first time for trainer Fiann McSharry.
1.5pt ew True Promise 3.20 Southwell
30 minutes later in the Class 4 2m staying handicap Sax Appeal should be able to outclass the opposition dropping down two grades from his last couple of races. His last 4 runs read WW23 in this grade and this looks to be the weakest Class 4 he has contested this year and should see him back defy 10’2.
2pt Win Bet Sax Appeal 3.50 Southwell
