Haggas Dry January to Continue.. 

Only 9 runners this month but the 0-9 record will be agitating Haggas followers who expect a 25% strike rate throughout the year. 

No real sign of the first win of the year being forthcoming. Wujjood did attract support at Lingfield backed from 8/1 into 10/3 and rewarded the suggested EW interest. She ran well but was powerless to withstand a brilliant Ryan Moore ride on Morrophone. 

The 3yo maiden Henrietta Ronner is a work in progress but she has yet to convince and although found a weak contest at Lingfield on Wednesday which could fall in her lap – she is no betting proposition. Let’s hope she gets the breaks and gives the yard their first victory of 2026 but she has a lot to do at the weights and her price of around 3/1 – looks far too short.
