As I suggested in the Tuesday evening blog the 5 Somerville Lodge runners on Wednesday have all been cut and are now drifting, a pattern that is likely to continue back and forth until the off time of the various races.
My only definite bet Fast Performer in the Carlisle nursery at 2.42 is fluctuating between 5/2 and 9/4 across the board. I expect though support to come again in the minutes before the race and he could easily return 15/8.
The other Carlisle runner Flagbearer was introduced at 6/1 and has been cut into 4/1 as the market seems very split between the top 4 in the betting and it is now in effect 4/1 co fav’s of 4.
At Kempton Venetian Sky in the maiden at 5.30 is very weak out to 11/2 and any Haggas horse that drifts from 2/1 to 11/2 cannot be considered a good betting opportunity.
In the 7.00 there has been a big gamble on Enchanted Queen from 7/4 into 8/13. Her form is superior to Yimmna and the gamble suggests the Boughey filly is fit off a long break.
Finally Art Lover in the 8.30 has drifted out to 5/2 despite Old is Gold being withdrawn, the Oisin Murphy ridden market leader Bintaryana is into 6/4 from 2/1 .
That is not a good sign- the Haggas Kempton record in September and October over the past 6 seasons heavily suggests market leaders are the only ones to support. There record is 6-19 ( not great ) but all other runners, aside from market leaders, it is 5-50 basically you need 10/1 to get any kind of value.
